As an entrepreneur you will get to know yourself pretty well. You have to be honest with yourself and become comfortable with your weaknesses and very aware of your strengths. Knowing these things allows you to easily deal with negativity and also to keep going when the challenges seem impossible!

Your success is between YOU and YOU not the world. It starts inside you!

How long will you persist in the face of challenges? How many times will you discover a way that doesn’t work before you give up? Do you believe in giving up or do you believe anything is possible?

So, Do you know how far you will go? The answer should be All the way!

Imagine… You have been working on something for a solid year, day in and day out and on day 366 you feel like you are right at square one. Yah, you have made many distinctions but nothing of any worldly reward has come about. Do you continue on? Yes! Imagine, you’re moving forward with your vision and outcome in mind. Clear as day. Moving forward. Taking Action, producing results, measuring and testing… another 5 years go by! Still no worldly reward has come of the efforts. You have learned so much, you feel like any minute you could have a breakthrough. Each day you wake up… you feel that it could be the day. Where does your motivation come from? INSIDE! You motivate you! Quitting is obviously unthinkable to someone like that.

All the sudden, 15 years have passed. 15 years of ups and downs. Emotional rollercoaster. Frustrations and perseverance. Imagine if you had made over 5,000 prototypes and now you think you have it… Finally, its ready (after 15 years). You just walked for a brief quick moment in James Dyson’s shoes. He finally launched the Dyson DC01 vacuum cleaner and within 22 months it became the best-selling cleaner in the UK.

Until recently you didn’t even know who he was or what a Dyson Vacuum was. Now it is known worldwide. Imagine if he had quit? Hmmm.

How did he do it? Here is his belief…

A lot of people give up when the world seems to be against them, but that’s the point when you should push a little harder. I use the analogy of running a race. It seems as though you can’t carry on, but if you just get through the pain barrier, you’ll see the end and be okay. Often, just around the corner is where the solution will happen.

~James Dyson

Many things I can relate to first hand happened to Dyson too.
First the outside world doesn’t want to accept your idea then they criticize you as you continue on and get a little traction, then they try to steal it when it looks promising! It’s certainly a humbling experience and a very good reason to develop solid relationships with people you can trust and keep them close.

Something magical happens as you persist. The Friction breaks as time goes on then things become frictionless and success just happens. After that, if you are operating from a position of truth and integrity, your world becomes less and less frictionless.

~ John Milanoski

It’s almost as the universe is holding us back until we prove ourselves worthy. You must go through your own set of lessons and experiences before you are ready. Some people just never get to chapter 2 of the lesson book! Each Chapter creates more potential for you, each plateau reveals another level, Higher and higher plateaus. You’re potential is unlimited but you have to decide how far you will go!
